I find his ads in poor taste. It is obvious from the ads that he has not had them long. He has one advertised now for $1000 that is Impressive bred. Wonder what her HYPP status is. He is also listing a paint grade horse as a brood mare.

Haas,

He may have had these mares for quite sometime and just playing the "oh I just barely got them" card.

But then again, maybe he has recently just obtained them.

Either way, they all need upgraded. You missed one of the mares where you oculd count all her bones, it was a DISTANT picture, and she was standing next/under a tree and you could still VISIUABLLY see bones protruting.

I did not miss anything. I would not have responded to these ads. People like him would not get a dime from me. They will not get upgraded at his prices.

Also might ad these ads do not surprise me at all. With the number of horses not being fed properly and the cost continuing to rise you will see more and more of them. For every horse here I could show you more just like them. The problem is that many do not want to give them away and they cannot afford to feed them. It is a no win. The rescues are all full.

I wasn't asking you to inquire about them. I'm just merely trying to state that you didn't get to see the other mare he has taken off.

I'm sure if someone is concerned enough and inquires and makes him an offer and he really needs to get rid of them I don't see why he wouldn't take it.

And then again if nothing gets done about it I and others can always call ASCPA or AC.

It sounds like to me that Mary is saying she DID see that mare.

No, I don't think she did. He took it off fairly quick after I posted this. And called a few rescue groups.

You're not the first person in the world who has ever browsed horses for sale.

Why don't you let Mary tell you whether or not she's seen the horse/ad before instead of just assuming?

Ok Jenje - sure

I know I'm not the only one whos browsed horses for sale. I wasn't born yesterday you know!!

And if you go back I did say, "You never know this dude might have just bought them ands trying to find them homes but for these prices??"

So I'm not bashing him. I'm throwing MULTIPLE ideas, and situations out there as to what the answer could be.

Please read up on my orginal posts first =)

And my biggest gripe is that you do not know him or the horses.... Why post something that you really do not know anything about? Unfortunately there are too many horses needing homes in the US. IF I posted every horse I knew that needed a home there would be a lot of posts. I honestly do not feel that anyone should post ads for horses that they do not personally own or know.
