Somebody told me I had to sew the plaits. I hope she's a fast runner!

I'm not going to say WHO told me to sew them. She knows who she is! I must admit I protested very loudly and whined like a 3yo not getting a lolly over doing it but here is the end result. I think I still have several holes gushing blood from the ends of my fingers where I impaled myself with the needle. I hope she's happy!

The end result. Both Jack & I had had enough. Show is tomorrow.

The arty shot.

No you can't have photos of the bloody fingers! They might make me look like I'm exaggerating it just a little bit

Hey, if you are going to do a job you may as well do it properly.

Next time try pulling the mane and halving the amounts of plaiting you need to do and halve the amount of blood loss. When you have finished the plait itself cut off that bit at the end. That way you don't get the sticky out bits.

Those sticky outy bits got trimmed off after the photo. It wasn't until the photo that I noticed them (they be gorne). That is after I pulled it. Lordy knows what it would've been like on the fingers if I'd left it as per normal. It was that thick that there was even amount of mane on both sides. No, I wasn't feeling THAT adventurous and wanting to plait both sides. Would've looked interesting but I would've had NO fingers left.

You did a great job! Now hurry and hood Jack so he doesn't rub them out before morning. Hate to see you lose all that blood for nothing!

He's not a rubber thankfully. He's tied for the night with water. He's had his dinner. *goes to check on Jack just in case*
