Some Weight Issues Were Having...

A little back ground info: I am 5'4", 14 years old, and weigh 125. My friend is 5'6-5'7, 14 years old, and about 120. Me and her have started doing a little diet thing. Basically it's like this : 500 crunches/day (we can both handle this, were both very active), not a lot of sweets, no overeating, and no eating when youre not hungry. I know I'm not huge but I would like to be smaller...

Any other ideas on how to get slimmer?

Dont TRY to lose weight; Try to gain muscle. It doesn't sound like you are overweight, so at this point, if you are uncomfortable with how you look, its about toning, not losing weight. It will SEEM like you are gaining weight, but muscle is heavier than fat. Dont just work on your abs work on whole body..and not everyday. Do cardio alot, and alternate the areas you work on.
good luck =]

Don't listen to what anyone else tells you- neither of you need to lose anyweight, infact you both might be underweight.

For 5' the "good" weight is 100lbs, then +/- 5 lbs is considered healthy, and add 5 lbs for every inch.

for 5'4 it would be 115-125- your perfect, and your friend is almost UNDERweight.

Trust me, you don't need to lose any weight EVERYBODY goes through selfesteem issues, it's just a part of growing up

You don't need to lose any weight. You're at a prefect weight right now. You are NOT anywhere near a lard ball. I am a lard ball, lol. If you're worried about your abs, you should concentrate on toning, not on losing weight.

You should not be competing with your friend, you don't need to lose weight, and she really doesn't. She's bordering on being underweight.
