Soft tissue is cartilage, tendons and ligaments, facias, and muscle.

Where exactly did he say the injury was?

You might have just pulled a muscle, which many refer to as soft tissue injuries.

It can be a variety of stuff.

Call him up and ask questions. Never feel bad about calling the vet and asking.

he was talking more than to the yard person than to me, but he just said that it was soft tissue injury. hes the vet of the yard, not my personal vet, so i dont have his number. ill ask the yard man...
it could have been when she was jumping, it was a tight course so it might have been at a tight corner, and it got stiff.

Sounds like you pulled a muscle or ligament.

Is he your horse? If so, why don't you have his number? Get his number and have him tell you what is wrong if this is your horse.

Ummm...you and your mom should have total access to the vet, not just the yard manager. Unless he's paying the bill.

That sounds like a very strange arrangement to me. My barn would only ever consider calling a vet for my horses before contacting me if it were an extreme emergency. Why would you let someone decide for you if your horse needs the vet?
