I bet it is...LOL...It's like feeding your kid candy bars and a soda pop to wash it down with Your not feeding enough to hurt anything it's not the end of the world but it has no real value other then sugar. Beet Pulp is honestly the best way I've ever put weight on a horse. Coming on winter I soak it in hot water and it gives em the warm fuzzy feeling in the belly that extra warmth with extra water they don't consume enough of during winter months. Rice bran I would give 2lbs a day depending on stablized or what type your feeding. Beet pulp 4lbs a day and watch him bloom. I swear by the stuff!
