So Confusing. Dont know what to do

Well, I have always loved barrel racing and will always, but I really would like to explore my other options. I would love to get into hunters or just jumpers. Doesnt matter. I think, before I get another horse, maybe I should try some different things out with Rayven. Just to see if I want to proceed with another faster barrel horse, or get a jumper. So I think thats what I am going to tell my mom. My friend Carlyn jumps, and is getting out of pleasure and changing to jumping, so maybe, I will ask her to help me out. I know its a lot more work than running around three barrels, but jumpings the thrill of seeing a new pattern. and I think Rayven would really like that. I think I would to. I am willing to train and do, and learn jumpers and really see if I like it. I am willing to do tht. I am just worried I will get another horse to do barrels......and not want to do barrels anymore......so, with Rayven, I can see what I want to do and persue my carreer a new way, or stick on the same road.

any thoughts???

Ummmmm... mabey Jumpers, since u are used to going fast, or eventers!!

my mom wont let me do eventing or cross country. no way no how. she has been filled with bad stories and no good stories.

Whats the diff. from hunters and jumpers?

hunters is looking pretty, a nice steady pace

jumpers is getting around a course as fast(and safe) as you can and not knocking anything over

my friend has some english stuff she said I can barrow anytime I want to im going to contact her with my idea, keep all my western barrel stuff, and see what I like better!

while I know you love your horse and she's a sweet-looking mare, she's probably not what they're looking for in the hunter ring. Hunters is very particular about the horse's looks and movement and form over jumps. I'd say jumpers would be your best bet if you're looking for a new discipline.
