Talking Sneak peek- Sundown Farms up and coming sabino/palomino AQHA stallion!!

Hey guys...

Got some pics of my up and coming AQHA stallion. He is still in the shoulder growing, hip growing stage.. So he does look butt high in the older pictures.. Anyway-- Dont have that many new ones, but this is him!!

We are breeding him in the spring to a couple outside mares and some of our mares (basically a test crop)..

He will prob. top out around 15.3. He is an AMAZING hunter mover!! Exactly what we were hoping to add to our program after cutting out A Sandman With Class (from our breeding program that is).

Here is his pedigree- www.allbreedpedigree.com/skipo+golden+badger I do focus more on conformation, temperment, and movement (over pedigree). You can make a pedigree important, but you cant make a stallions conformation better!

Anyway, the palomino and sabino part seems to be icing on the cake!!

New pic,

First Show,

Growing,

Very gangly,

Cute butt!

Okay, I will add a movement shot of him TONIGHT!!
There is no info/pics of him on my website, but his full brother ('07) is on there, quite a cutie!! www.SundownFarmVA.com

Yes, his first show was a last minute halter show! He needs to be on the line! He is no where near as gangly now, and looks much better!

I do have his full brother here, that looks nothing like him at all!!

moving shot??

Okay, so I thought I had more pictures of him moving!! Well, I found one! He was sneaking his way through some other horses photo, so I only have his front half !!

Dont laugh at his half body! They were all trottin' down the hill to the feed trough! He wanted to steal the picture though, just not fast enough!

Gorgeous boy!

We have had several people come out and look at him, and all have been impressed! He is growing so much, and is filling out well!

Pulled him out of the field the other day and he remembers all the ground work that I had done with him! Ran right through it like we had been practicing it for months!! Shows that he has a great brain, and is trainable!!

Everyone that has come to view him has booked!!

I can grab videos of him moving if anyone were interested!

Thanks,
Stephanie

He's a toe pointer. LOVE IT.

Too funny, in his "gangly" pic he looks EXACTLY like what my APHA mare looked like as a yearling. I hate the pic on her APHA papers because she literally looks like ET.

She went from this:

To this:

In only two years.

I'd love to see a vid of him. I'm going to register for the free breeding for sure! A silver smoky black APHA registered foal is a dream of mine...

Awww poo... Just saw that you only breed live cover. Don't think that will work for me. I'm in Iowa! If you ever decide to start shipping let me know.
