Smudge learns to lunge... round and round and round we go. *videos*

Smudge got lunged today for the first time at four years old. He took it pretty well, caught on pretty quickly. We had a bit of a mishap early on, when he stepped over the trailing lunge line AND the part between him and I... then proceded to spin around four or five times, wrapping the lines around his legs. Luckily, I was smart enough to use the soft braided cotton line rather than the woven ones that I normally use so he wasn't hurt at all. He caught on quick quickly to stop and go, not great though. I wasn't expecting him to be all that good honestly. He was tripping quite a bit because it was lumpy ground in there. And he was also wearing a bridle for the second time. I figured it was as good a time as any to get him used to that too. Anyways, here are some videos.

This first one is of the mishap... you can't see any of it really because my mom, well... you'll see.

Thanks for looking!

LOL, I'll leave Molly to you. He didn't do so well today... he was okay for a little while, but it didn't last long. I'll try again but I don't think I'll be doing it very often... half the time he either doesn't move, or spooks at the whip. Just wait until you see what Smores did today.

He's a quick learner, surprisingly. Thanks! He like to think he's cute and takes advantage of it, LOL.
