Hi, I am looking for a little help here. I have a pretty little paint filly that is registered in the Breeder's Trust. At first I had no intention of showing her, I bought her for riding. I have been working with her on the ground and she is super sharp and learns quickly and retains it. So now I am interested in showing her, I hate to see a pretty face go to waste...LOL. So what is it you do when you show halter? Does anyone know of a good video, book or site that takes you through the paces of a halter show? Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!

that is a good question and unfortunetly i dont know any books or videos. but i am showing my mustang right now. not in big time shows but in 4-h. are you talking about the big time shows or shows in 4-h?

A very good video on how to fit a halter horse is this one. I've recommended it to many other people. It's $40 plus $5 s/h when you buy it right from Ted.  |

im in 4H too, and the RULE book (only book i know of, lol) doesnt have anything like that...
