Show your Arabs off

This makes me want an Arab

I went out and rode a full arabian a few weeks ago. They are just such neat breed of horses, I've never thought of them this way! I've always owned a TB or a warmblood, something like that. A lady my mom works with owns a few arabians. I'll be showing one of them in the crossrail class soon (shes 5 and just started learning to jump)!

Anyways, this is the gal I rode. Her name is Raina, 14.2hh, she is 21 years old. Now teaching kids how to ride. She use to be an endurance pony, and not only that but jumps 3'3 and even goes western!! She is the cutest thing.

She nickers EVERY time you get off of her.

Here's my boy. He's a 20(ish) year old Arabian gelding.

Excuse the dirt and cuts he was getting beat up at his other barn so we moved him back home.

And I totally know how you feel - after having him I'm going to look for a second Arabian before anything else.

This is Meteor, my 14yo Arab gelding. I'm now a total Arab lover and will likely get another one when Meteor leaves me.

Yup, that's one of my favorites, too. If you look closely, you'll see that the tips of his ears are bent back from it. He was OBSESSED with that window! By the time he was done, the whole bottom of the window was fogged up.
