I think that toolbelt one was kind of funny, just the way that it was stated. LMBO

NO POP!?!?!?!?!?!
What are you crazy!?!?! lol

I would also suggest to bring a saddle rack, so you don't have to throw your saddle on the floor.
Anything else?

We wear the Nike style pants and jackets over our show breeches and shirts (Dressage = white, who thought of that!) to keep them clean. The pants have a zippered lower leg, so the pants easily come off, even over boots.

We also wear the rubber boot covers to keep the major grime off of the soles and seams of the bottom of our boots.

Saddle racks are definately a good idea! We saw some in the Dover catalog (for an obscene price) that were simple wood construction, so we made a bunch. They have a bottom that is constructed like a box, so we can store lots of supplies right under our saddles.

We also have large rubbermade storage boxes to put pads, bridles, etc in. They are about $10 and have a convient handle on one side, and wheels on the other side! they sure make life easy.

I also like to take a cooler packed with those kids' juice boxes, water and sodas. I freeze the juice boxes the night before, then use them as ice packs, rather than taking up more space with actual ice or packs.

All of our Coggins, registration papers, show bills, etc are kept in a three ring binder, inside of protective plastic sleeves. We put copies of the major documents in the sleeve with the originals to give to show staff that need them. Preparing this at the beginning of the show season takes only a few minutes but saves us the stress of having to remember the week (or day, or morining of) the show! The binder is kept either in the dressing room of the trailer or the tow vehicle at all times.

Here is a few more

BRING YOUR OWN RULE BOOK, some show managers don't have enough for EVERYONE to have or to see.

KNOW your rules, quit blaming the judges for YOU not following directions that are clearly written out

Quit Gossiping about WHY a judge placed a person. When you actually WATCH, there are minor things that can cause a person to drop in placing. From the legs not moving evenly to the horse tossed his head once.

And if you missed it and don't understand, ASK the judge, DON"T ASSUME! many judges will be glad to bring up things that you can work on. Just make sure the ring steward is there with you, as this is the rule.

Circle C--That books one got put in there by accident, no pop so it doesn't make you even more nervous or anxious or w/e, a lunch usually does mean that much, they mean sweats over your show clothes, that is basically a grooming kit, you shouldn't wear mini shorts and tank tops at a horse show and you should always be there early soo yea!
