It really depends if you want to wear your western gear or your english gear.

The Schutz is very western (and gorgeous), and the rhinestone halter is english (and tackwholesale is k-rap).

So the rhinestone one would be a good english halter?

I actually don't like either....

However, for your horse I would tend to lean to a darker leather, IMO....

I just posted another. Let me know what you think of that one. I think I've decided to use the rhinestone one for english showmanship rather than western

Honestly, you should not use a rhinestone halter for english showmanship. English is suppose to be classic so stick with a plain leather halter or just use your bridle.

Yeah I've never shown english showmanship in a halter but I want to start. So a plain halter would be best? What about stitching, like is fancy stitching okay just completely plain?

For an english horse, many people use flashy halters, however I personally like the think less bulky halters that is why I like the one I linked for you.....

Well first you need to decide if you're showing english or western I don't know a ton about english showmanship, but I've always see it done in a bridle

If you're showing western I'd get a classic silver show halter. Silver buckles and silver bars. If you really want rindstones you can sometimes find halters with stones set into the silver But you'll pay abit more for a good quaility one.

Invest in quality, or you will end up buying it at later date anyway!

I went through about 4 halters before I finally bought a Dale Chavez.
I'm still hunting for another one of the same quality. It's worth every extra cent.
