great info! Thanks a ton!

Now, could you or anybody really, post some products and/or brands of shampoo, conditioner, and shine products that do not contain silicone or any of the stuff not soluble in water?

I use the EQyss products on my horses .. I did used to use Cowboy magic and lazer sheen and asorbine and all the others - had shelves of the stuff. I tried the EQyss Avocado mist and the survivor on my horse and the same day I cleared the shelves of the other products (expensive trash can that day )

I use the EQyss on my hair, and now so does my friend, my mother, her sister .. and the list goes on LOL! I have noticed a huge difference in my own hair. I used to just scrape through 6 weeks between hair cuts before the ends used to get so split and dry and I used to hate combing the mammoth knots out of it. I thought about just getting the clippers out one day LOL!! I had my hair cut a couple of weeks ago (just to add some layers) I couldn't find one split end before having it cut and before that my previous hair cut was ........the 13th December 2005 thats the difference between using a product that just gives shine and using one that makes your hair healthy. I use the Mega-Tek 3 times a week instead of their conditioner and its just the best thing since sliced bread.

why didn't I know about these products when I was at school with yucky ginger frizz hair

Thanks guys I am pleased you liked the tread - I hope it helps in your quest for perfect locks

Hey, I think Pledge still passes the 'smell' test?!
*clarifier- do not use Pledge to pass the 'Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific' test!
'Gee Your (Shiny) Horse Smells Terrific', maybe.

Hello my pointy eared friend

I wash my hair about 5 times a week - sometimes everyday if I have been working on the farm and smell of cheval !

Wash - Premier shampoo and condition with the cream rinse.
3 times a week I use Mega-Tek and leave it on for about 3 - 5 minutes then wash it out. when its wet I put a smidgen (that a little bit to you folks) of survivor detangler on it and just comb it through. when its dry I usually spray some avocado mist on just to give it a nice smell & shine, I also find the avocado mist is good at keeping it straighter than usual. I went to a meeting once without using my straighteners thanks to AV mist

I am pleased I don't have a web cam as I have ridden Bailey and my hair is in a ponytail and looks a right mess LOL!! hardly a good advert for hair care

Oh, I had a feeling it would be Eqyss. I know its good stuff and I use it too, but I keep looking for that fantasy product that is equally good but cheaper (dream on, huh?). My horse is big and has a lot of hair (and I love to groom him), so I can go through it pretty fast.

I don't know which one you are using Jess - if you can let me know I can tell you if it has anything that you should avoid in it
