I'll take some pics later, cause I'm going to bed (worked all night!), but she had 5 puppies! 3 tri-color boys, a blue merle boy and a blue merle female! All healthy!

She ended up having 2 more, about an hour after my last message! She had 7 all together-4 tri boys, 1 tri girl, 1 blue girl and 1 blue boy. One of the tri boys died, though, about an hour after birth. He was half the size of the others, and just skin and bones. We couldn't get him to nurse at all.

I was hoping for 4-5...and she had 7!

Her and my stud are both good at putting out puppies in size...thankfully!

Seven is pretty big Sheltie litter! TOo bad about the little boy, sigh, it's the not so fun part of breeding, the ones that just are not meant to be.

We were expecting 4 or 5! Her mother had 5, and so did her sister, but her grandmother had 7 and then 8 (one died from each litter, though.)

I'd be exhausted too glad she's otherwise doing well!
