i was out in the field with happy earlier giving her some carrot peelings from dinner, and i gave her a scratch on the neck with my fingernails! then she decided to scratch me back and groom my shoulder like they do when they mutually groom! so i scratched her again and she did it again. it was soooooooooo cute she has never done that before! and she now whinnies and nickers to me and gallops over to the gate when she sees me with a headcollar! ive only had her since september and we are already great friends! i love her soooooo much she is the BEST HORSE IN THE WORLD cute_kis cute_kis cute_kis

that is SO SWEET!!! there was a horse that i use to grrom at a riding school and if you scratched its whithers it made such a cute face!

she thinks im top dog, if she trys anything on she gets put back into her place, dont worry. i was not going to leave because of members on here, it was because of some bullies at school who log on here as guests and give me hassle about what i say about happy on here, long story, pm me if u want details (u probably dont though!) but ive decided to stand up to them and im not gonna let them push me around. im going to do WHAT I WANT. yeah you two, if you are reading this, im not having any mor of your c.rap. i dont care if you hit me anymore, ill hit you back like i did today. bet that black eye goes well with your make up doesnt it shannon?

That is sweet, but it's really dangerous and not a good idea. For one, they can get pretty rough with "grooming." Two, you're showing her that it's alright to accept you as a horse.

Happiness, my Belgian does the same thing to me (well, she tries) she know better than to even attempt to bite me, but every time I brush her, she swings her head around and pushes me with her nose. When I quit brushing her to clean out the brush, she pushes her hips and shoulder toward me like she doesn't want me to stop. She will follow me all over the pasture, even stand behind me while I brush the other horses. I brushed her chest, you know, that part of her front end between her shoulders, and she sticks her head way up and pulls her upper lip in the air, shakes her head up & down a little, then when I stop she looks like "No, don't stop!" I thought it was hilarious.
