my pony, Taffy, is really good at english pleasure, western pleasure, fairly good at trail, and good at halter and patterns, and shes getting there in team penning. well taffy hates being in a ring by herself. and i want to race her, nto be a good racer, just do it for fun. well she goes really slow going up and she has to walk around the barrels but coming home she can FLY! we cant use a stick or kicking or spurs or anything else to get her to go fast going up cause she'll just buck and stop and wont listen to you. her other problem is that the only way shes gonna do the pattern is if theres another horse up at the other end. well today she did 4 runs without any other horses in the ring. so shes coming
