His sire and dam are both Palomino so the only choice is Cremello... so when breeding to sorrel the only possible offspring color is Palomino. To get a buckskin you would have had to breed to a bay, black or brown mare and get lucky.

He is a beautiful stallion... Do you barrel race?

hahaha, I try to, but my 5 year old daughter is better than me. We have a mixture of reiners/ropers/barrell racers. The cross we like the best is just cowy, for general ranch work and they are always in need in this area. Good ranch geldings average $7500, and good ropers and racers are in the $10,000 and up.

Awe..poor thing looks miserable!

She doesn't look too bad in the weight department. Lots of mares as they get close to foaling look like they need a good feeding.

You can't see it in these pics, but I can see her ribs slightly. Is that normal Mutrok? She does get free choice grass hay, but does not seem to hungry lately.

Almost everyone of my mares shows ribs when they are close to foaling. When the baby drops and they loose their topline they tend to look a bit ribby. I think she looks fine considering how far along she is. Are you giving her a mare and foal supplement?
