Share your TRACTORS!!

Alright Im starting this thread by request of my Hubby. We are looking to get a tractor but he cant decide what he wants. So he was wanting me to ask ya'll:

1. How much land do you have?
2. What tractor do you have? (share a pic if you want )
3. What do you use your tractor for?

Thanks in advance

I don't know how horse people manage with out a tractor....We have a 70 HP Case IH diesel tractor with bucket and three point hitch. WE have every implement just about for it including, blade, snow blower, rotavator, mower deck etc. I use it to mow pastures. clear snow, put posts in, move manure, clean pastures, level sand etc etc etc
WE have 10 acres.

We have a compact Kabota, 24 horse. It's handy as heck to have around. We bought it primarily for snow blowing, but have found 100 other uses. We recently bought a back blade at an auction. We own about 20 acres.

Oh, your asking for specifics...LOL

We have two John Deers and 2 Kubotas...I know nothing beyond that! I'll have to ask my husband later...

We have 130 acres and use the tractors for mowing, pulling things like manure spreaders and hay wagons. we dig up stumps, move dirt, and have attachments like mowers, graters, conditioners, etc.

I do know how to drive each one if thats any consolation!

This pic shows a few of the tractors...

Right now I have neither land nor a tractor, but a while back when I did live on a farm, we had 32 acres and a John Deere 2020 with a front bucket -- it was probably older than me, but it ran great, just smoked a little. We used it for everything: moving hay, cleaning the barn, turning and spreading the manure pile, fixing fence, mowing, snow plowing, land grading, gravel spreading, to reach the light over the barn door to change the bulb, carrying the soda machine over to the horse show ring and back, pulling the truck out of the bog...well, you get the picture!

IMHO, a front bucket is essential, it's just so darn useful I don't know how anyone makes do without one. The other implements we had were a brush hog, post hole auger, scraper blade, and round bale spikes for both the bucket and the three-point hitch on the back (so we could carry two bales at once). Also a set of tire chains, if that counts.

Bet those crusty old West Virginia farmers used to laugh themselves senseless, driving by and seeing my five-foot-nothing self tooling around on that green monster, in my pink sweatshirt and diamond earrings!

I have to get a picture of mine.

We have about 23acres and our tractor is a crawler ( at least that's what my dad calls it ) it doesn't have wheels it has tracks but it is not a bulldozer it a big yellow thing I'm afraid to drive lmao. It works really well around here as it gets WET!!
My dad uses it to snowplow, dig holes, bush hog, pull things that get stuck in the mud out, pull out trees, and moving other equipment oh and I almost for got he uses it to move the round bales too. He has A LOT of different attachments.
We also have about 3 or 4 little lawn mowers some are just for pulling carts one is actually for mowing the lawn lol.

We also have a an ATV which is what I use for a lot of my barn chores ( I'm afraid of the crawler lol) but right now it's broken . Something with the turning is broken.

My neighbor has A LOT of tractors they do over 600acres of hay so they have A LOT of VERY large tractors lol
