Share Your Thoughts~ dun colt

Summer's coming to an end and instead of having the money for my car, I've got four fabulous horses: there's my AQHA filly for gaming, my dun mare for breeding, my colt for fun, and my other filly who is still with her dam. I love summer because I can devote ALL of my time to my horses and really get to know them. All this free time is a blast......then reality set in. LoL school's going to be starting in a bit and I'm going to need a car so I can drive to school, parties, my friends', movies.......and horse shows of course!!! Not to mention that with the hard subjects I'm taking, I just won't have time for 4 horses AND my dad's Thoroughbred mare. I've put a lot of thought into this, and after a few all-nighters I've decided that my colt is the one to go.He's so sweet and I bought him with his dam to sell her, but I don't think I can part with her. *sigh* well the point of this topic, is to please tell me what you can about this guy. Some of you have already put in input on the mare and I thank you greatly. I have some pics of her, too, to show their resemblance. I was hoping for some help on what to post him for and any qualities I should point out. His breeding includes Poco Bueno,Moore Chic,Mr. Norfleet, Cajun Indio,Yellow Mount, & King Joe Jet.Be honest but be careful with what you say...he is my baby!

I made the very painful decision of selling my 3 year old QH filly & she went to her new home this weekend. I definitely feel your pain. It's so hard to let one of your "babies" go after bonding so closely with them. I still have 2 more horses & they are NOT going anywhere! Your colt is absolutely gorgeous, well built, leggy & with some excellent bloodlines. He looks like he would probably be a good barrel racing prospect, WP, or reigning prospect. I'm so sorry you have to part with him. Sounds like you have your head on straight & know what your priorities are. Good luck in selling him. I know he will go to an excellent home.

He's adorable. I think he will sell himself. Who could refuse that face?

He has legs that go forever, he has a nice eye, looks like he is standing a little underneath himself in one picture(but as we all know horses will stand weird if you are trying to take a picture of them, ) Ah, Poco Bueno(love him!)....we've got a Poco Bueno great grandson, colt. He has a big head, like yours(at least thats what it looks like).
I think that our colt has more thickness than your red dun colt. But Im sure he will grow into a big guy. The mare is beautiful.

Sorry you have to sell, but you have to do what you have to do. Its better to sell a foal(in my opinion) because then you havent had as much time to get to know him/her as you would a horse that you have known for a while.(At least thats how it is for me)

Aw thanks so much. I do feel horrible about selling him but your reassurance means a lot to me.

What's a good asking price for this triple-registered cutie? LoL
