Shapley's M-T-G

Have any of you out there had any luck with this product? I have used Shapley's products before, but I was curious as to whether or not this product worked the way the company said it did. If you could tell me anything you like/dislike about it, I would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

What are you wanting to use it for? I just put it on Reno's mane and tail. I eyeballed her tail to see how long it was. And I measured her mane and forelock. So I"ll know for sure on those.

I'm using it on Rusty's rainrot, and it is the only thing that I've really had luck with on it.

I used MTG to cure my horse of rain rot and of a skin irritation in her mane. It works WONDERS! At least it did for my 2 mares. The first time I put it on, I was amazed! It works fast and very well!

Well I think it does work but when I used it the first time on my mare I was stupid enough to just squirt it in there and when I went to rub it in I noticed it was greasy (yes stupidity I know) and I didn't have a tail bag so needless to say she got a bath the next day cause it got all over her legs and she looked like she sat in grease....

It definitely works. We put it on the show horses' tails before we put them in tail bags, and the tails come out in flawless condition.

Dawn: Yes, I was thinking just for using it on the tail. His tail isn't in its best possible shape. I wanted to use it and use a tail bag too.

Windblown: I think I am going to do exactly what you do. Thanks!

Thank you to all of you that replied. I appreciate it.

I use it on my horses mane, it's already grown close to three inches in two months time. I am not totally sure on the length because I keep trimming the scraggelies as they grow out, but I can tell you that it has grown quite a bit. The stuff works, although it does smell funny, like hickory smoke!
