I don't know anyone who is at the moment in the service...but many of my family members, including 3/4 grandparents (yes, even my grandma!) were in the military...and my father.

I consider myself very patriotic, and regardless of what people think of the militarys activities, they should still support them! We should all want for our service men and women to be safe!

Yesterday I was very close to getting deployed to Iraq again. Talked to my Sergeant Major though and was able to get out of it. Part of me wanted to go back, but after talking to my b/f decided it wasn't the best choice.

The best advice I can give to those of you who are sending someone to Iraq. Please be supportive. The first time I went I was so afraid to tell my family and yesterday when it was brought up, I was almost physically ill thinking about telling my family. It's actually something I want to do again, but I know it will really hurt everyone I love. Don't have emotional outbreaks it just makes it that much worse when your loved one leaves. He/she doesn't need to feel guilty about going and leaving their family.

I pray for all of our service men and women every where in the world , I am an army brat, my dad did 20 years in the army and I moved all over the world with him and my mom and 2 brothers and sister, my dad served in vietnam, and my husband is a disabled veteran, he was in the air force, he also served over seas in the vietnam era, in the middle east....so I know something about what some of you are going through, and what some of you are feeling, Moo I am glad you did not have to go back again, I think once is enough....Cathy

I know. Everone is making such a big deal about Seth & Daniel going to Iraq and I just let them know that I will be praying for them and how proud of them that I am. I'm proud of every service member!
