you do realize that because this stallion is over 4 he will have to do a riding test at inspection time right? On the flat and over fences. In case you were planning on presenting him for inspection this year, it may be too soon as he isnt' broke yet.

LOL.. yes I am aware that there is no such thing as a full wb.. What I ment, is that he is great to breed to Full tbs, because he has very little tb blood up close..

Yes, he will be taken to inspections this summer.

Aside from the huge huge studs that are pintos right now... Most of the affordable ones are half wb/half tb... Thankfully- he is not! He has as much wb breeding as he can up close (being a decendent of Rainbow, there is quite a bit of tb in the back). But that is 4 generations back..

Anyway-- he has some substance to him, he is a great boy!! We are giving him a makeover (he was like a regular paint stallion-- long mane, long fetlocks, long whiskers-- the whole 9).. I started with the mane today... I cut it all off.. I will even it out tomorrow.. I plan to take some pictures, when I turn him out!

He's a nice looking boy. But being that he isn't inspected yet and what not, that's going to deter quite a few people. I would honestly put forth the extra cash for Deco knowing he has been inspected left and right, before breeding my mare to uninspected stud.

The owners really should have made a point to get his inspection done already. Especially when there are quite a few his age already inspected multiple times and have been shown alot. I wish him luck this summer though. Keep us updated.
