What a cute little guy! It's very sad his mother rejected him, but I'm glad to hear he is thriving and growing well.

Here he is now at one week and two days old, doing much better now that he can actually EAT and not have his butt kicked. Hes already drinking a little water and nibbling on the half a flake of hay I put in his corral. And apparently likes the smell of a quad mocha...

Well hes two weeks just this last Sunday, and thriving just fine. Hes eating hay and drinking water regularly now ALREADY, with less and less whinnying for nursetime... Today we trailered him (His first trailer ride, he did EXCELLENT) Out to the ranch and let him stretch his legs and see other Horses. He totally dug running amuck and talking to the others. After we got him back to Grandmas house, he instantly drank water, had a few mouthfuls of hay, and sacked out.
