Question second ever show- tips please

I am going to be in an in-barn schooling show on oct. 28. I was in it last year and I did walk only equitation. I am doing w/t. This wil be my first time ever entering a w/t class in a show. I am perfectly capable of doing everything but am starting to get nervous about it.

i need some tips please

If you are doing hunter.........Smile! Get those darn diagonals, make sure your horse is nice and relaxed before the class, If equitation give him a head set, if pleasure let his head hang low, don't look down (look ahead). Smile and nod your head to the judge at the end of the class, make sure you and your horse are clean and purty, don't eat before the class eat after, give your horse water before the class, get to bed early, try schooling the day before, get there in plenty of time before your class starts, make sure your tack is clean, and that's all I can think of now.. lol
GOOD LUCK!

Double check your bridle, make sure that the noseband is straight, everything is adjusted properly, and all ends are in their keepers. Wear gloves. Make sure to stay on the correct diagnal, and switch if you have to, and most importantly----------HAVE FUN!!
Good luck!
