Wink Sandy is turning blue!

Okay maybe not blue I havent seen him in about a week and when I went out there around his eyes and alot of his muzzle was graying out, giving him a blue look! It looked alot bluer(word?) in person!

I let him eat in the outdoor and I was surprised by how un-spooky he was being. It was super windy, colder than normal and cloudy and he was calmer than normal. While he was eating ocassionally he would gallop around and buck but nothing too crazy. He also bucked and kicked mud about 30 feet in the air! I love my talented boy

So now I'm wondering if he is a true buckskin, because all of the buckskin horses I have encountered never had this graying going on and he just seems an unusual shade. Any ideas?

His normal coat color:

Thanks

Thanks!

I used to think he was a sooty buckskin when he was younger, but he has lightened up since then.

the grey around his eyes isnt sooty- its normal. My last buckskin would do that in the summer, and around his eyes and muzzle would be the same as your pics. Hes just losing some more hair in those areas due to the season =)
