*nods* I agree as well.. But then where I was raised, if someone sanded the hoof, it ment they were trying to cover up the ridges from a truama or major health issue..
This is a interesting thread, Im going to ask my ex SIL if she does her studs hooves, now you got me wondering.. lol

Troika had his hooves sanded for 15 or more years, lots of sanding for big shows every year. His hooves are good and he is 21. So I say yay
