Smile Salmon with Pasta (recipe help)

SO, I have this beautiful fillet of salmon in the fridge...I want to broil/roast it up and add it to some cooked pasta for our main dish. What kind of sauce should I use for the pasta?

I am thinking something with green onions, garlic, grated cheese and maybe a touch of butter and cream?

Hmm... Perhaps just a light extra-virgin olive oil dressing with garlic and herb seasonings. Mmm....

Maybe some roasted bell peppers diced as well??? *tummy grumbles*

I made one once with Lawrey's hawaiian marinade and a lemon garlic sauce and poured the whole thing over veggies and pasta. It was really good, but had a bit of a zing to it. Was very low calorie though.

This is SOOOO easy for me

one 5-6 oz container of Gargonzola Cheese. Two big cloves of fresh crushed garlic, one pint sour cream, one cup Chardonnay or even better, Marsalla wine, fresh sliced mushrooms, fresh oragano if available otherwise a touch of dried oragano. One 5-6 oz container of fresh Assagio or Ramono (better flavor combo then using parmasan). Fresh ground pepper.

Over Med.Low heat combine the sour cream, gargonzola cheese, garlic cloves, wine, mushrooms and oragenao. Slowly simmer for about 20 mins and stir about every 5 mins or so. After simmering 20 mins, add the Assagio (or Ramano) and fresh ground pepper to taste, then simmer another 10 mins..... mix into pasta and voila has GREAT flavor for the pasta that blends nicely with salmon.

Also if you can, grill the salmon on the BBQ ... If you need a salmon grilling reciepe I have those too, LOL.

That is going on the shopping list right now!

I love green onions so those are going in too...I know it isn't the lowest calorie recipe I've ever seen. But you only live once! :P I can't wait to taste it!!

LOLOL yes you could add in green onions or shallots, lol I just LOATHE onion of any sort, ROTFLMAO...

I actually made that reciepe up off the top of my head one day and it works really well You can also add in sweet sun dried tomatoes and pine nuts for 'variety' in flavor, both really go well with Salmon and/or shrimp!
