Definitely check out this review, not sure if they still have the problem or if it was just a fluke but always a good thing to ask about. http://www.horsetackreview.com/resul...tact%20Saddles I always check out that website for reviews on tack.... Nothing is more honest than a third person opinion! Here's the saddle on ebay... it's sitting at 500.00 right now, not the same color though. http://cgi.ebay.com/Dover-Circuit-Sa...QQcmdZViewItem |

What seat size do you need? Tree size? What will you be using it for? If shows, what events and what level? What is your price range? Will you consider used? Can you buy off eBay?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Circuit saddle. My trainer got one, and I loved hers, so I got one, then two other people at my barn got them, and we all love them. They are fantastic quality, hold up nicely, have really nice leather after you get them broken in (at first they seem like cardboard, but oil and use make that go away). I love the saddles and everything about them... they will put you in a bit of a chair seat, so they're more for people who are pretty bad about their leg slipping back, like me. Also, don't be afraid to buy used. They hold their value well, and are really sturdy. My saddle is about 4 years old, and it's only just started getting scratches (from my new cheesegraters. I don't like the bridles they sell with the saddles (or if you buy them separately)... they were pretty good a few years ago, but now they have started getting all wonky. The nosebands and browbands are glued together, and as soon as you oil it, this terrible, sticky oil starts coming out EVERYWHERE. It's impossible to get out... I've been working on a pony's bridle that I show for over three months, and glue is STILL coming out of it. Yuck. |
