Sad Day... Lame Horse. :(

Today was the first rodeo of the season, and my horse has an abcess. I'm so upset.
I went out to watch the girls trickride today and they did beautifully. But all I could think about was how much I wanted to be out there too. (Not videotaping!!)

I guess I'm just whining, but I was so excited and prepared for this rodeo. *sigh* Oh well, I guess all things happen for a reason... *grumble grumble*

Doesn't it seem to?
Everyone was in their cute trickriding outfits and their horses were all glittery and beautiful... and I was videotaping from the bleachers. Sigh. Oh well, he'll be back at it SOON!

Aww that's too bad. Like they say, there's always next time. The best you can do is be there for your buddy while it heals. Good luck to the both of you, and I hope your horse heals in good time.

Thanks. The farrier gave a pretty good prognosis - 6 weeks and it's been 3 already. I really really want to ride right now though! LOL.
