OH GOSH! I thought it was me! He repeats things a billion times until I shut the show off! I'd rather watch paint dry....

I just saw the episode about the grey horse.

All I can say is wow. He said that he was putting himself in danger, himself, when he was standing in the trailer with the horse. Why would you do that? So you can look tough when you fall and break yourself? Ha. Honestly, I think that he's a little too... self assured. He said "you should contact a professional, like myself" twice in that episode. Gah. He's very frustrating. :S

This was the only time I've ever saw him. He didn't impress me one bit.

The Behaviorist also just bugs me, but I don't why. He just doesn't seem to like horses or understand them. I like Craig Cameron's Western Horseman book, Ride Smart, better than his show. It's very informative, and it explains in depth (without repetition) Craig's training philosophy. He's pretty knowledgeable about working tack. Don't they call Craig the Cowboy's Clinician? That kind of fits him, don't you think?

You're right, Harley. His voice is so slooooow and soothing. You want to say, "Get busy working with the horse, and stop talking so much!" But I also have to admit he's awfully cute.

Ryan is a complete fraud and should NOT be trusted in any advice given. He's dishonest, deceitful and a thief. He's shady and just full of ****. I'm not impressed with him as human being, MUCH LESS his "ability" to handle and train a horse. Riders beware. He's an idiot.

I am going to partly disagree with the comment on Craig Cameron. The only way to learn, and teach is often on a well schooled horse. You have to see it done correctly(and often feel it) to really grasp what the goal your are looking for is. He just had a show about riding squares. The horse was well trained, but you needed it for that segment. Only way to show how it should be done correctly.

Now I will say, his voice bugs me, and I am not a huge fan of him...however, like any of those trainers on that channel, it is entertainment...so I watch it.

I am not a huge fan of Ryan either. He recently had a show with a lady and very very dangerous horse(she would bolt with a rider trying to get on, broke her owners arm etc). The horse was so tense, wide eyed, back was down etc.. I would never trust that thing...even after all of the training. There was something just not right with it.

You know what he told her? That the horse was just green.....hmm....yes, young horses can have quirks, but not like that. The horse was dangerous, older, and IMO had a screw loose. Thankfully, he took the horse off her hands, so he can 'rehabilitate her', and sell her to a different home. I feel sorry for whoever ends up with the thing.

I saw that episode..he gave her the mare back & the lady actually rode her around by herself afterwards.
