If you are going in to evacuate animals, you might be able to get in, just need to take the side roads. Or see if they can get the horses to point X and you take horses from X to Y.

See what I mean? There are ways around "barriers" since you still have some time. Not much though.

i wish we were still around that area, i would be able to help out after we got our horses out of there. if Huntsville wasn't expected to get hit, my MIL has 2 1/2 acres that could posibly be used, but they are expected to get it as well.

Cat

Spent Friday and Saturday between the Expo Center and Manor Downs, but mostly Manor. What a diverse group of horses that came up. There was everything from a Saddlebred barn of show horses, another barn of nice nice QH's and the horses from LSER. Which were all sweet as could be! I love Paco and Paula.

We were at Manor where the Galveston horses were brought into. They were hot and dehydrated after 13+ hours on the road, but everyone was well on Saturday night when I left.

Stayed home yesterday to tend to my 20 horses. I hope everyone makes it home safe and sound.

Thank you for a job well done LSER.
