For some of that, I disagree.
Firstly, I think too many of us trash talk other horse sellers. But I think it is also good to critique other people's ads. It helps people learn what to look out for when buying a horse. Not everybody can tell the difference between a fake ad and a real ad. Some fishy ads people find could even help save a neglected horse.
This is just my opinion.

It is fine to critique other people's ads, if they ask to have them critiqued. That's the difference. If some one that is not very knowledgable is looking to buy a horse, then they put the ad up and say, "what do you think of this horse?", you can critique that. If there is a problem with the ad, then that is fine to say what you think.

But to purouse the internet for the specific purpose of making fun of ads, people's horses, their spelling, their un-knowledge of horses or their pricing is wrong. And that is what this new rule is addressing, those types of critiques.

What if your looking at horses - get a picture of the horse you would like to buy (off the internet) and want a critique. Is that ok?

This is just a hypothetical question

If you are seriously interested in buying the horse that is fine as stated in my original post.

Opps sorry i missed that

But what if you have like 3 diffrent horses that you would like to buy. If you compare them to eachother, it's still comparing horses that aren't yours.

I agree it's wrong to take pictures of random horses off the internet and say "Eww this horse has bad confo." But when you are looking to buy a horse and want an honest critique between a few, is that ok?

Sorry my post is kind of "mumbo-jumbled" - I'm not quite sure how to word myself

I know what you are saying, if you are looking to buy a horse and want to compare that is fine to ask to critique. And what would even be better is if you just went ahead and posted all the info on here about the horses instead of linking. But if you want to link also that is fine.

If this were a 'critique a horse ad' section, then yes - that would be acceptable. This section however, is designed for horse owners to have their own horses, as well as SERIOUS prospects, to be critiqued. Hence the name of the forum section 'CRITIQUE MY HORSE'.

Threads that do not follow these guidelines will be deleted and the originator reprimanded.
