| Senior Member+  |  rrr, my 1st show of the season CANCELED!!
This saturday was supposed to be Grady's first show of the year. Canceled! Said there wasen't enough entries. There are no other shows even in my STATE that I can go to until May 25. Then I'll have three shows on three consecutive weekends, one weekend off, then more shows. But I REALLY wanted to go to THIS one because it's a nice schooling show were we could get our feet wet for the beginning of the year. I am very unhappy.

Aww.. I'm sorry.  That really stinks. They should have held it anyway! lol If it's just a schooling show, do they really need THAT many people? Good luck this season!

Hmmm I am feeling your pain. I wanted to make it to the 25th Carriage house schooling show but my trainer is going to be in Colorado. Now our first dressage show will be a rated one on June 6th. Eeep. May is a very slow month for shows. I have been looking around for something to go to to prep Denali for June but didn't find much. I need my own truck and trailer, sigh.

Oh, the same thing happened to me! I was so upset. But ah well, it's just a show - there are tons more. Think of it as more time to get ready for the next show!

If you just want to get them out and experience the bedlam, Id suggest a WSCA show. Just enter the English Pleasure classes. Its not much, but it can be a good test run. Just a suggestion.  Sorry to hear things arent working out great... but the weathers supposed to be shoddy this weekend anyways.
