Q.u.i.t.a
What is the diameter of it?
*.*.*.*.*.*
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God.
Hm. you could wait a couple of days and go through the hassle to measure it. OR, we could do some math and figure it out RIGHT NOW! how exciting! It's math time!Originally Posted by countryacres
A roundpen is a circle. We know the circumference of the circle:Originally Posted by countryacres
14 gates x 12 feet each = 168 feet, add 5ish feet for walk-through gate, we have a circumference of 173 feet
Now we do some simple algebra.
The formula for finding diameter is C = 3.14 x d
so
173 = 3.14 x d
173 / 3.14 = d
173/3.14 = 55.09
BINGO!!
Countryacres' roundpen is approximately 55 feet in diameter.

Nice 18tomorrow, you're braver than I am!
I wouldn't bother with all that math...
It is what you read when you don’t have to that determines who you will be when you can’t help it.Always rotate your tires, no matter how loud the elephant screams
Thank you for the math. You make it sound so easy. I never was good at math when I was in school let alone now that I am out of school. lol

Now that we have that figured out who wants it. lol
