| Senior Member+ | Rope used in Parelli halters? I was wondering if anyone knew what rope Parelli used for their halters. I don't mean yacht braid or such, but the actual rope (brand, style, etc.). I like it's diameter and stiffness (between that of CA's stiff ones and the soft double braid I have now), but haven't been able to find the rope on my own.

| Senior Member | So you're saying that they're not as stiff as Clinton Anderson's, and that's what you like about them? Because I know where you can get the stuff that CA's are made of, but if you don't want it that stiff, then obviously that's no help!

| Senior Member+ | CB Knot is great. I've been getting rope from them for a while now. None of the Samson ropes match what he uses, though. That's where I'm lost.

| Senior Member+ | I thought it was from samson but I could be wrong. I made my own halter and took a friedns parelli along to the store to find the right rope. I'm not postive if it's the identical rope but the one I found was as close to identical as possible. I live in a big sailing area and cn't quite remeber where I got the rope but I think it was from a West Marine store: http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs...atalogId=10001 I am really not being helpful but I can't even seem to remember which rope I ended up getting |

| Senior Member+ | A marine store in Iowa? It's not a big rush for me to find it, it's more of a curiosity thing.
