Whoops! I thought I put that in there! Her ears were from a Miracle Collar taht was put on incorrectly. Her ears looked MUCH worse than that. I honestly never thought they would turn out that nice.

She was too down to care about me cleaning her ears. She was a total angel through everything I put her through. She just stood there head hung low.

She coliced so many times when we first got her...didn't know about the miracle collar yet. What a life saver! That was just shocking to look at your pictures though...Gypsy's hair fell out after I gave her a bath when I first brought her home too. Scared me half to death lol. I had her for ten years...makes me miss her looking at your pics.
We love our Romy cribbing and all! It's taken some getting used to having a cribber around but I don't really even think about it now and people walk in our barn and are like HOLY *(#$ you have cribbers and I hardly notice now. (Both rescues crib but not when their collars are on)

Thanks Cathy! I still think her and Xiphias look alike!

She is looking wonderful! I can't wait to hear more about her and see more pictures in the spring or summer!
I too am excited to see her shed off in the summer. I know she won't be where she needs to be in weight but it'll be nice to see her after her hiding in all that hair for so long!

You are a WONDERFUL person for helping her out, good on you.
Thanks! Most people taht saw her when she was in such poor condition assumed she died and I point to her and say nope there she is and their Jaws drop EVERYTIME. These pictures do not do her justice!

That was courtesy of an ill-fitting Miracle Collar. When the owner went to trial over the entire herd of horses she did get to see them. I hope her jaw dropped to when she saw them. Sadly there were horses worse than Romance.

Thanks all!

I got to see her in person...I wouldn't have guessed she was ever in such bad shape. She was curious when I was riding Penny. She was the one who kept coming over to see what was going on. I can't wait to see if she will be a riding horse come summer. She has come a long way Jamie...I am glad she has you and Adam.
