A ***FILLY***

Yup yup. A beautiful bouncing baby girl. She's a week old now, it's taken me a bit to get on here and post her pics. Just hasn't been the easiest time for me lately. But anywho..

Roll gave birth at 3pm(pacific time), April 27th. The filly is HUGE! She actually got her shoulder caught in momma, but she was helped out. Her name is Snowbound Ailsa, pronounced Ale-Sa. She's a twin of her three year old brother Tymac. Haha. It's so uncanny. I wanted to name her Snowbound Deja-Vu. But without further delay, here she is at a week old:

Snowbound Ailsa, the first foal of the season at Ahshling Stables.

What a NICE filly!

Postage to 76240 please. Think we can get her in a media mail box? I have one of those neat vacuum sealer things, so she'd take up less room than normal.

Roll is about 15 to 15.1hh. She's stunted since she's a twin. Her sister Rock had a filly this year as well. But all of Roll's babies end up being big. Ty is 16hh at 3 years old, Kelsie is a yearling but will dwarf her brother, and Ailsa is the largest baby Roll has had with us. So it'll be interesting to see how big she gets. She's all legs, and her joints are huge. I was suprised to see her hocks when I first saw her. She's going to be a big girl.

And she just absolutely LOVES to roll. She'll run, then drop down to the ground to roll, then get back up and start all over. Haha.
