Do any of you ride/own Rocky Mountain and or Kentucky Mountain Gaited Horses?

I would love to hear about them and or see pics.

I don't own any,but I know a lot of people who do, they are real nice horses,most are about 14 to 15 hands, stocky, and are really kind and good natured horses. I love the chocolate with blonde manes.

Thanks for the reply. You are right about their nature. They are a horse that truly displays a lot of afffection. Yesterday I was talking to my neighbor over our fence and RimRock came up behind me. He was muzzeling my neck, playing with my pony tail. My neighbor laughed and said, "That horse really loves you!"

Regal recently got a roommate who's a Rocky Mountain.

They let him trade up to a big lot if he shared with this little Rocky. He's very sweet and very sane under saddle.

at my barn i train two of them..
mother and daughter and they are great.
the daughter is built like a morab..
with looks.
but feels like your riding a cadalac.
they are very surefooted and have great personalities.
if you ask..
i can get some pics of Cracker..and her mom Cheyenne for you.
formally Cheyenne's Ghram Cracker and Cheyenne.
oh and her name is pronounced Shawnee.
i always get confussed.

My husband wants one! I think they are gorgeous but hard to come by here in Arizona. Anyone know where to look for a Rocky Mountain or a Tennessee Walker in Arizona?

They are beautiful horses, the chocolates are just gorgeous

Brad's how is a Single Foot horse, kind of similar. Not chocolate though. Boring old black. But he has the best disposition and personality!
