Shannon... The mare looks splash to me. She has several things that I consider characteristic and knowing that splash TBs present minimally I believe she could me. The baby is definitely splash, as is the sire.

Don't forget that splash can present as nothing more than a blue eye, or star. It does like the legs, but doesn't *always* present itself there.

Ginger I kind of go either way on the foal. There is nothing that screams splash, but nothing that says it's not either.

Well thank you very much for your "analysis" I always thought she had some white modifier going on (spots in blaze, jagged edges) and had always considered her sabino, but the absolute lack of white on her legs was bewildering.

I am still very disappointed that I never got a foal out of this mare. I tried breeding her to a buckskin Mascarpone son (www.zeefroggie.com) in 2006 and would have LOVED a splash/sabino buckskin or palomino (both sire and dam would have been Ee) German WB foal running around. Sigh...One day!!!

And on another note, you now have another very prolific splash Warmblood stallion to add to your collection!

Ok, pictures of the mare, does she look Splash!
{Since others posted, this is the dam of the liver chestnut colt}
I know she has tobiano in there, but I'm not good with paint patterns.

Tobiano doesn't put face markings like that on a horse I'm going to say yes!
