Ours is smaller than it should be, but you can canter without a problem. My daughter trailers her horse to an indoor in the winter or whenever she needs to practice her dressage tests. Ours is 70' x 112'.

My riding schools is 40 x 60 for the jumping one, and 60 x 20 (metres) for the dressage ones. I hate cantering in the small ones though. It scares me.

I ride in 2 different ones. One VERY small one, it isnt even a rectangle it like an oblong cut into the side of a hill lol. Thats my next door neighbours lol Sometimes I ride in it but its very difficult. I dont feel comfortable jumping in it or doing much canter work due to the small size. The arena I get lessons in is 60m x 40m (approx 200 x 130 ft)and I love the size of it
