Training your horse requires complete concentration, so don't u need comfy clothes that u don't have to worry about while u ride? Some people will buy expensive full seat breeches, others will just wear jeans. Personally I like to ride in Yoga pants. These stretchy, thin, and extremely comfortable contraptions are wonderful for riding! They fit under my chaps easily, are cool enough to wear in the summer, or i can ride without my chaps! On another note...I also believe that if one rides without chaps, you build more leg muscles. How? Because you don't have that extra layer holding you onto the saddle, forcing you to roll your knees in, and hold them there. You also gain balance because you aren't "stuck" in the saddle becaue of the leather. All of this helps in sticky situations.

Jeans. All the time. Or, in the summer, I wear shorts or just my bikini bottoms when I go swimming with the horses

I ride in breeches and sometimes in jeans but it's hard for me to find a comfy pair of jeans to ride in.

Sometimes when I trot the inner seam of my jeans will really irritate my thigh. I know breeches don't have an inner seam but I really don't want to wear breeches. Will yoga pants or sweats help that?
