Arrow Riding After 3 Weeks

so i finally got the chance to go ride my boy for a little bit this evening. i wanted to walk him into the arena and he went barn sour on me. i know what we will be working on next time. i can get him to easily overcome it, just takes some discipline and reinforcing . he did quite well in the arena, he threw in some nice little bucks here and there and i was like "okay EZ no more bucking" "don't buck me off" and he didn't buck the rest of the time! what a good boy! he seemed really happy to be ridden again. afterwards we were walking back to the barn and he his back legs seemed a little different. i was scared he was lame (but he seemed fine in the arena minus the bucking), maybe i was over-reacting, at least that is what my dad said i was doing. i walked & trotted him around and even had a friend come look at him. he seemed to be alright i guess. she said he seemed a little stiff in the front legs. which is understandable considering he hasn't been riding for 3 weeks. we talked to the barn manager before we left and she said that since he was just shod today that maybe a nail was a little high- she said she would keep an eye on him the next couple of days; of course i will do the same. should i have anything to worry about?
