Riders breaking a sweat

When do you break a sweat when you are riding? I know I do when I'm having a long jumping lesson.

i sweat during EVERY lesson. but i'm way out of shape though. usually trotting and cantering makes me sweat, because i post and i have to keep my balance right and all that and keep the horse going and in the right lead and behaving themselves, and i usually ride jaded lesson horses that just plod along and don't do much of anything, so it's EXTRA hard.

I think if your horse is sweating, it's only fair that you work hard enough to make yourself sweat.....equal opportunity training!

It depends entirely on the time of year. In the summer I sweat before I even get on too lol.
In the "normal" temps I sweat if i'm posting to the trot for A LONG TIME otherwise i don't sweat very much at all.

I don't usually sweat, I'm known around the barn for always forgetting my sweatshirt! But on long trails I sweat my @$$ off!
