THis is what you call a stressed out mom !! I had been in tears since 7:30 am when I went down to feed and had to drag her to the barn.. I had sat on the ground in her stall to get the foam on her hooves.. sweating bullets and crying takes it toll on you ...
hehe if I make it small enough you can't really see the yucky on my face.... stress does stuff to you I am telling you

BTW Have I said Thank you to RIck and Jessie yet

SC I am not sure what I would have done today without him... Jessie was leary to try a "foundering" horse on his own .. he has always gotten them after the fact and wasn't too much of a man to say he needed help... My mare and I are soooo glad to have had two wonderful farriers at our service today!!

Oh awesome. I now have a FACE to picture when I read his words.....

Question, does he sound like a gruffy old man when he talks??? (need total visual now that I have a mental pic now....)

Cool that you got him out!

Although I would be cautious of putting duct tape on coronets though, mugs the blood flow other than that I see a wonderful pain free future for this mare she has the ace of feet working on her!
We had to HUSTLE to get that on there-as we were trying to tape, she is trying to fall over-the tape was NOT tight on her coronary band or ANY part of her leg that has hair. I had my fingers under the tape until I could make the next round-then I would pull them out, and stick them under the new layer-we knew they would be at her house in less then 45 mins at this time, our only object was get the foam ON her feet. The tape was NOT tight by any means. The only place I pulled it tight was on the foam itself-and we all know, duct tape doesn't stretch! It was a mess, and we did a rush job, which within SECONDS of us foaming her, she was upright, with her feet under her again-FOAM IS OUR FRIEND!!! EVERYONE, GET A SHEET AND KEEP IT TUCKED AWAY! lol!

Im still trying to figure out what voice to put to his words. I now can "hear" yours, Cindys, and several others...but his....I've always figured somewhat deep and "gruffy" sounding....
