Basically all in all, its your own beliefs. Someone cant get mad at you for liking the color pink so dont get mad at them for their choice of words. You may dislike or not agree with it and thats fine but you dont have the right to criticize someone.

They cannot be "taught" not to hurt when someone makes a disgusting, insensitive comment. They are people with feelings and hearts. Why would you not care about hurting someone so innocent to the way things work?

The definition I posted above is from Dictionary.com. The word retard actually means to slow down, hinder, impede, etc. In the original useage of the word...it wasn't used to describe a person. In fact, the definition as posted above says it is used as slang to describe a person. Wouldn't the more proper word for a persons condition be Mentally Handicapped?
