COngrats, sounds like it was a great event!! One of my students we supposed to be in this event, but her horse had to have surgery on a tie-back last week, so he is out of commission for a while.
Too bad, I would have loved to watch you ride!!

I can't believe how built up that whole area is either. I remember when it was nothing but fields and a few rickety jumps!

Aww man, that's a bummer for her! Right now I'm thinking about doing the Powder Basin event in July, is that anywhere near you?

I used to board over off of Lincoln Ave and we used to ride our horses into town to the Mickey D's.

I grew up in Gillette. I actually helped build that course, from the ground up!! It's come a long way from the used railroad tie jumps that we used to have! I love that event, it's one of the best in area I think. Very well run, very good accomidations and grounds.

I haven't missed it in years. So yes, I will be there. Hopefully with my student, but even if she won't be ready, I will probably go to at least volunteer.

Yay!! Go Buddy!! Looks like you had lots of fun. Wish I had been able to go. Buddy looks soo much better now. Even if he didn't do as well as he did in the warm up!

So, you're looking into going to Gillette! I wish I could go, like our original plan... . But next year I have decided that I will go. (then go on up to ND and pick up Dragon's sister! )
