Haven't you been trying to sell this same horse for a long, long time? Maybe you would get more interest if you lowered the price, although it sounds like he is worth that. Driving horses don't go for much around here, but maybe in your area it's different.

I laughed Abbie, It seems she just jumps on and posts her horse for sale... she never really just comes and posts... I laughed so hard when I saw the title, I knew exactly who it was. DO you have the horse on equine.com or dreamhorse.com?? Maybe that would be a good place to post the gelding. It is free for an ad with no picture!

jersy17 I see the horse is in NY. I am in PA there are two levels of morgans around here, champonship level and draw high dollar amounts. The others are those the Amish use mostly for buggys. They are sold at auction for less than what you have listed. Your price may be to high. |

As far as keeping problems to ourselves... you must not be on the forum much, it is a public forum and if you post, we can speak our mind. In fact we were mearly stating our opinion, which everyone is entitled to.... and were mentioned nice to "help" you.... not belittle you! No I am not interested in the horse, but maybe some other "HORSE PEOPLE" can help you "present" him better to the equine community (who will buy him). Sorry we were trying to help! BESIDES, you can purchase a disposable camera, take them to walmart and get them developed onto a CD to post online... but that would be "trying to help" you... and I am sorry for mentioning it.

Your horse is only worth what someone will pay for him. Nothing more. | |

I was actually interested in your horse. I love Morgans and thought I would take a look. But my Morgan mare who also has excellent bloodlines was sold to me at the age of 5 with tons more training than this gelding of yours. She was sold to me as a driving horse with as much experience as you could ask of a 5 year old and was started under saddle. I bought her for $3,000. I like the look of Sam from the fuzzy pic that you showed(I would like to see a clearer picture) and yes he does have excellent bloodlines but unfortunatly he is a gelding so his bloodlines don't matter much except for him being able to be called a Morgan. For a horse with his amount of training, very little it seems for how old he is, (however I wouldn't mind working with him) I would be willing to pay somewhere around $1000. |
