I think the filly is a dark grulla or black. The buckskin on the top left... umm... are you CERTAIN that's not dunskin??? That's probably the best fake stripe I've ever seen if not. ACC |

Oh I looooooooove his breeding!! Wonder if they have a confo shot of him. We are told she is registered AQHA (and APHA qualified) but she was a rescue and we do not have her papers in hand. We are presently working on that and hope to have them soon. I do not know her pedigree yet. ACC |

Ok... curious... what is the lightest dorsal you have a photo of that is KNOWN to be a dun carrier? I know you've showed some pretty light ones before... on dunalinos I think? ACC |

The filly is indeed a dark grullo... but if you look at the horse you were calling a buckskin in another thread there are many similar colors...  Also my filly has no cream gene...sire is black and dam is grullo.   Just had to add the brown with no cream... tested!  And the colt behind him is buckskin~

True but that filly had cream and no dun in her pedigree... and I said buckskin before she shed... it's just the shedding didn't change my mind. If I had seen your filly pre-shed I might have thought differently. ACC |
