Recipe for saddle soap

Where I go to college there was a lecturer there who made her own saddle soap by some how boiling it in a pan and waiting for it to set.
The homemade soap was far better than anything iv ever used on my tack! It was creamy and made the leather soft and supple.
I never got the recipe before she left and so I wondered if anyone might be able to give me a clue as to what it was she may have used and how it is done? Thankyou

This website has a bunch of diffrent recipes. I've never gotten to make any so I'm not sure how well they work, but maybe you'll find one you like.
