Ration Balancer Reference Thread

Ration balancers have not been around "that" long ... just buy it bag it up per feeding and have him to feed it ...

I have no clue what goes through these folks heads. But I cant really argue with them, it does no good. I have to find something better to put my horses on though but if the BO doesnt compensate for what we buy, we cant do it.

I wish they had better info on their website. TDI is a line I've never dealt with before. It's just not available here (that I'm aware of). And it doesn't seem to be widely available elsewhere (at least in the US), but I could be wrong about that of course.

They have a complete nutrient listing on the analysis page and ingredient listing on product page.

Not as good of distribhution as Nutrina or Purina but not bad.

I remember now that I thought to click on the feed analysis link on the site. It doesn't have supplemented amino acid levels, and the lysine level is slightly low for a grass ration balancer (assuming feeding directions are on a typical level for other comparable products). Iron is really high. Those are my quick glance thoughts anyway.
